[Guide] Download and Installation Guide. [Well Explained]

Hey guys, here's a short installation/downloading guide I wrote for new comers.

Things needed:
-MSSetupv83
-ShadeStory client + Wz.edits

Step 1: Download the MSSetupv83, preferably to your desktop for easy access.
Step 2: After downloading the MSSetupv83, double click it and install it. Make sure it creates a Nexon folder.
(Don't save it in a folder that occupies another version of maplestory.)
Step 3: Download the ShadeStory client. (It comes with the wz edits needed to play the game)
Step 4: Extract the client (and wz edits) into your v83 maplestory folder. The common location is C:/Nexon/Maplestory.
Step 5: Click "Yes to all" when prompted.
Step 6: Double click the client and play!

Common problems!

Problem:Installation error (-40)
Solution: Something went wrong while installing. Either simply re-install, or to be safer, re-download the re-installer,
then re-install.

Problem: A threat was found in this file.
Solution: To be safe, your computer will automatically delete the file (depending on your software). To get around
this, turn off your anti-virus program. If you want to be safe, listen to your program, but we DON'T have viruses in our client.

Problem: Invalid ID / Incorrect password.
Solution: It's NOT auto-register. Make sure to register before trying to log in.

Problem: D/C after pic.
Solution: Check your files. Make sure they are where they belong (in v83 folder). If it persists, re-install. If it STILL
persists, re-download installer, then re-install.

But for the D/C after PIC, you can disable your loopback adapter


For People with Windows XP :
A. Click the |Start| button at the bottom left of your screen
B. Right click |My Computer| then select |Properties|
C. After that click on |Hardware Tab|, then go to |Device Manger|.
D. Click on the sign that looks like a plus sign ( + ) by |Network Adapters|
E. Then click |Microsoft Loopback Adapter| select |Disable|.

For People with Windows Vista/Windows 7 This one is longer :
A. Go to your |start menu| which is located on the bottom left.
B. Click on |Computer| it's more likely to be under Control Panel , right click it
C. Then Click |Properties| from the list it's going to be located on the bottom of the list most likely.
D. A new window will open, scroll down, and on the bottom right side, you'll see |Change settings|.
E. Click on that than another window will appear.
F. Look for the tab that says |Hardware|
G. Click on that tab, and then click on the button called |Device Managers|.
H. Another window will open again. Look for |Network Adapters| , most likely be found on the bottom below Monitors.
I. Double click on it or look for the arrow or + sign again.
J. After that look for |Microsoft Loopback Adapter| click on it after that click the |Disable| button at the top

Than you can begin to play again!(:
